Hello Blog...I've Missed You!

It's been a REALLY long time since I've blogged...I'm surprised I didn't delete my blog...
Well, so much has been going on in my life...close high school friends getting engaged and married, shower parties to attend, volunteering at my university's alumni club, work and studying for my GMAT exam!

Well, last weekend, I attended a wedding for one of my close high school friends. It was such a fun night! I got all dressed up, did my hair & make up, and wore really high heels (which I ended up taking off in the middle of the wedding). Normally, I am the least likely person to dance at a party, and my friends know that. However, at the wedding party, I spent the whole night on the dance floor, from beginning to end!
It was such an amazing night, although I was barely able to walk the next day (note to self: never wear high heels to a party!).

And speaking of parties, as I mentioned earlier, I'm volunteering at my university's alumni club, where we organize events to raise money for scholarship students. Our next event, which will be taking place next weekend, is an Oldies party. We have to dress up in oldies costumes (I'm going as a Hippie :) ), and dance to the beats of the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's, which will be fun! This event would be my second event that I'm helping the club organize. I started volunteering in September, after I attended an event by the alumni club in the summer. One of my close college friends was volunteering at the club and I told him that I would love to join and help out. And since then, I've been attending all meetings, spending time with a wonderful group of alumni and having fun volunteering for such a good cause, which is raising money for education!
Education is a very big deal for me. I believe everyone should be entitled to receive an education, and we should help out those who want to continue learning, but are unable to do so financially. And through the alumni club were doing exactly that.

And speaking of learning & education, I've been busy spending my nights studying for the GMAT exam, which I will be sitting for in November. I started studying for the GMAT last summer, so that I can be ready when I take the test in November 2012 (Yes, I'm a nerd. I know that and I'm proud!). One of my goals in life is to get my MBA degree from Harvard, and hopefully I will be applying for the class entering 2013 (wish me luck!).

Besides volunteering, and studying for the GMAT exam, work has been pretty busy. I have business trip coming up soon with one of my clients, and a few presentations to prepare & present.

And my final point for this blog entry: I am sooooo happy that One Tree Hill season 9 has started a few weeks ago! I've seen the first 3 episodes of season 9 and I can't wait a week between each episode! Which is why I'm still re-watching all the seasons over and over and over and over.... (currently I'm on the 4th season for the 5th or 6th time...I lost count). OTH has become an addiction for me. I cannot sleep before I watch at least one episode before I go to bed!
Well, it's either watching One Tree Hill before I go to sleep, or solve at least 20 -30 math questions for my GMAT exam....(I'm weird!).

So, as you can see I've been really busy those past few months, but I'll try to blog more often!
